Share your Ideas for Letchworth Town Centre

12-14 The Arcade

Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation is calling for views and ideas on the future of Letchworth Town Centre, through a series of consultation initiatives starting with a public exhibition which opens this Saturday (14 May).

Visitors to 12-14 The Arcade, Letchworth GC will be able to chat with the team involved in the long-term development of The Wynd and the wider town centre, until Friday 20 May. The exhibition kicks off with refreshments and free face painting on Saturday at 10am. During the week, visit between 10am and 6pm and until 7.30pm on Thursday evening, closed on Sunday.

The Foundation have appointed Allies and Morrison: Urban Practitioners, a regeneration consultancy, who will work with the local community and businesses through a series of workshops and walking tours. Feedback will be used to develop options for the town centre, which will be presented to the public later in the year.

Adrian Brace, the Foundation’s Director of Property, said “The exhibition is a great opportunity for the local community to let us know what they want to see in the town. I would encourage anyone who lives, works or plays here to have their say and help shape the future.”

If you are unable to visit the exhibition, join the conversations at www.thenextsteps.co.uk where you are also able to sign-up for the forthcoming workshops.
