Letchworth Garden City in World War II Exhibition
Come and explore how the people of Letchworth Garden City made a significant contribution to World War II with fascinating photographs and objects, classic film clips and an array of interactive features.
There’s plenty to see touch, listen to and learn – try on a gas mask, squeeze into a life size Morrison Shelter and sit down in a 1940s living room.
Whether you’re exploring a replica 1940s living room, trying on a gas mask or ’ trying to fit into a life size Morrison Shelter, there is plenty to listen to, see, touch and learn.

Family fun this summer
Teddy Bears Picnic
Saturday 24 July
12pm – 2pm
Bring a teddy with your picnic for lunch in the museum garden, with stories and games and competitions.
Summer Fun Day
Saturday 14 August
11am – 4pm
Come along to our annual extravaganza full of entertainment, Punch & Judy show, games and competitions. Includes free painting.
