Hope springs eternal!

Stuart Kenny, Director General of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, opened the ‘Wings of Hope’ Fun Day at Fearnhill School, Letchworth Garden City, on Saturday, January 30.

The event was the brainchild of four Fearnhill sixth form students who organised all aspects of the organisation and promotion of the day. The proceeds went to support the education charity ‘Wings of Hope’, which funds schools for very disadvantaged children in India and Malawi. Among the fun activities were name the bear, a raffle, face painting, cake and jewellery stalls – and even a penalty shoot-out!
