Coming soon at Plinston...
Thijs Van Leer, and his top 70s Dutch prog-rockers Focus will be playing Plinston on Sunday 17 October.
North Hertfordshire’s premier entertainment venue
Operated and funded by the Heritage Foundation, Plinston have just announced their new season of events for the rest of 2010.
Featuring an eclectic variety of rock performances, theatre and musicals, beer festival, quiz, comedy, christmas pantomime plus carol concert - the highlights of their live music calendar include:
- U2UK, replicating the very best of U2 from 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' to 'Vertigo' on Friday, October 1;
- Think Floyd, playing out hits from the 'Barrett era' through to 'Dark Side of the Moon' on Friday, October 15;
- Top 70s Dutch rock export Focus, best known for prog-rock classics 'Hocus Pocus' and 'House of King' on Sunday, October 17;
- The Hamsters bring their 40th anniversary Hendrix memorial concert to town on Friday, October 22;
- Aynt Skynyrd, playing homage to stateside southern rockers Lynyrd Skynrd, with classics 'Sweet Home Alabama' and 'That Smell' on Sunday, November 6;
- Fully professional Zep tribute, Whole Lotta Led, land in the Garden City on Friday, November 26.
