A slice of history in The Arcade

The Arcade

Shoppers in Letchworth Garden City Town Centre are now able to enjoy the First Garden City Heritage Museum’s exhibitions in the heart of the Town Centre.

Currently vacant shop fronts at 12-14 and 18, The Arcade, have been temporarily filled with displays, featuring fascinating insights into the Garden City’s unique past.

Why not take a moment to pass by and marvel at the selection of classic 1920s photos, presenting The Arcade in all its glory? There is also another chance to see previous exhibitions ‘Life in Sepia’, exploring the early history of Letchworth Garden City through its photographs and photographers; and ‘Letchworth at Home’, discovering how domestic life has changed over the past 100 years.
