Did you go to school in Letchworth Garden City?

Do you have fond memories of your education in the world’s first Garden City? and memories such as dusty blackboards, grazed knees, jumpers for goalposts and Double Science , the 11 plus, O-Levels, A-Levels and everything in-between?

If so, the First Garden City Heritage Museum would like to hear from you, ahead of its next exhibition, “School Days,” which highlights all aspects of education and opens in March.

The museum is particularly keen to hear from anyone who would like to record their memories, or anyone who has any objects they would be willing to loan or donate for the exhibition, including books, uniforms and photos.

If you can help, please get in touch with Josh Tidy (Curator – Exhibitions & Operations) on 01462 482710 or via fgchm@letchworth.com
