Hat-trick of Howards!

The county's High Sheriff at First Garden City Heritage Museum
Pictured left to right: Alan Howard, Josh Tidy, Vicky Rawlings, Stuart Kenny, Director General LGCHF, Sheila Guard, the High Sheriff and in the front is the model of the town founder, which is a permanent fixture at the Heritage Museum.

The county's High Sheriff came 'face to face' with his namesake – the founder of the world's first Garden City – on Tuesday 22 January 2008.

On a whistle-stop tour of the area's museums, Howard Guard, High Sheriff of Hertfordshire and his wife Sheila, were shown around the Heritage Foundation owned First Garden City Heritage Museum in Norton Way South and came across a life size model of Ebenezer Howard. In addition, he also met another Howard – Foundation Director Alan Howard!
