Government Minister at the Spirella

A high-level delegation from Finland – including the Government’s Housing Minister – paid a special visit to the world’s first Garden City, on Monday 2 June 2008.
The eight strong delegation, which also included ‘captains of industry’ from Finland, spent a couple of hours at the Spirella Building, where they were given a presentation by their hosts, Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation.
The presentation included an overview of the history of the Garden City, including the role of the Foundation, Estate Management and general issues of interest and also included a ‘questions and answers’ session.
