"Challenging times" for Garden City
Letchworth GC's own version of 'Question Time' takes to the floor on Thursday May 19, with the Annual Garden City Meeting - being held for the first time in the Spirella Ballroom.
Anyone who lives and/or works in Letchworth Garden City is welcome to attend and 'fire' questions on anything directly connected with the world's first Garden City, to Stuart Kenny, the Heritage Foundation's Director General and Chairman Alan Scouller.
Before questions, Mr Kenny and Mr Scouller will give keynote speeches both addressing different aspects of town life over the last 12 months and Mr Kenny will also talk about the` "challenging times ahead," for the Garden City in general and specifically its town centre.
Heritage Foundation Board of Management Members and Governors will also be present and there will be information and plans on display. Refreshments available from 7pm for a 7.30pm meeting start and entrance is free.
