Centenary Fireworks at Norton Common
The skies above Letchworth Garden City exploded with light and colour last Saturday evening, 27 September, when a spectacular free fireworks display for all the family took place on Norton Common. This was the biggest ever display of fireworks seen in the world's first Garden City.
Stuart Kenny, Director General of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, said: "Saturday night's spectacular Centenary Firework Display in Norton Common attracted over 8,000 people covering most age groups. It was especially pleasing to see so many young families celebrate the Centenary of the Garden City."
