Paul Palmer is an archaeologist, lecturer and course leader. Born in the Garden City, his first career was in engineering and international marketing.

A qualified and practising archaeologist and historian, he tutors for the University of Cambridge and other adult education providers. He was long-term Chairman of the North Hertfordshire Archaeological Society.

His interests include heritage, history, architecture and the environment.
